The original Pokémon mascot was Clefairy, but since 1997 it has been
Pikachu.
"Catch 'Em If You Can!" was considered for the slogan, but
"Gotta Catch 'Em All!" was eventually chosen.
Pikachu's trainer is called Ash Ketchum.
A Pikachus' gender is determined by the shape of it's tail.
The females' tail is shaped like a heart.
